Alice is the name we gave to this mannequin which is used as a dress form. We created an outfit from upcycled net curtains, and printed fabric. We printed the fabric ourselves. The front panel is of objects found in books, and the side panels are of scrap fabric, leftovers from a quilting project. In the windows nearby, you can see other printed panels, of paintings and poetry. All can be found on WisbechArtSpace.com as with some off the other arts and crafts in this room.
You have reached this page either by chance on the internet as it is indexed by search engines, or via the NFC tag behind Alice’s necklace.
This combination of crafts, books, tech and upcycling illustrates the hub and the workshops we enjoy.
